'I just dropped by to pick up a reason'...
On this day (March 3rd),back in 1966 a bunch of guys formed a Band called Buffalo Springfield. You may, or may not, have heard of them or some of the individuals that comprised this Band. Most of them went on to be quite famous. I suppose they could only be considered 'well known' if you're old.

They were only around for a couple of years, hence this Retrospective (Greatest Hits) Album was pressed in 1969. I wasn't very old then. Fortunately, however, I had an older Sister that was/is really cool and dated Hippies. They used to give me rides to places and stuff. Sometimes while other kids my age were playing with Hula-Hoops and Slinky's, I was listening to Music...like The Buffalo Springfield. That's why, I guess, I have this Album. The name of the Band was derived from the name of a Tractor, by the way.
I listened to this Old Album today. I hadn't heard for a long, long time. The songs on it are over 40 years old. The songs on it are still way past good. What's that tell 'ya?

HI there,
Wanted to edit your profile there to help you keep the story correct from an old hippie of course.
Regarding the name Buffalo Springfield, it was not the name of the tractor, it was the name of the company painted on the tractor from whence they borrowed the name they gave their newly formed band
